JOY Liquid Wax Candles^TM were invented in 1983 by JOY's President Robert Schmorleitz. His goal was to solve the problems of drips and damage caused by wax candles. Today, there are several other very large companies that make copies of our original Liquid Wax Candle. But don't be fooled by look-alike candles! JOY Candles are different from the rest. We still use the highest quality "Made in the USA" materials, along with our advanced 3-Stage colorizing process. And best of all, we still hand polish each and every candle as the finishing touch to insure you receive a quality product.
